Allegedly China’s favorite foreign movie! This Yugoslav partisan classic became a cult hit in China during the 1970s and is still fondly remembered. We’ll watch it in Chinese with English subtitles — portraying partisan resistance and armed struggle against the Nazi regime in Sarajevo. (Heads up: the copy is a bit rough in quality, but worth the ride! If anyone has access to a better copy in Chinese, please let me know 🙏).
